One of my favorite things about the holiday season is the holiday inspired drinks. I really wanted to include some treats too but I just didn’t have time too. It’s so much fun to see what the local brands come up with for the holiday season. So here is where to get holiday drinks in SWFL
Holiday Drinks You Can Get in SWFL
Good Ground is one of my favorite coffee shops here in SWFL. It’s located in Downtown Fort on Main St. I love to get matcha here all the time. My usual order is an iced matcha latte with oat milk and salted caramel syrup. It’s so good.
But we are here to talk about their holiday drinks. They have three different flavors; Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, and Eggnog Latte. I asked the owners what their favorite was and both Sam and Paola said the Gingerbread Latte. The third owner Abel wasn’t there and I asked them what they thought his favorite was and it was also the gingerbread or the peppermint mocha.
So I got the gingerbread latte. I really like it. You could taste the slight gingerbread taste to it. The gingerbread syrup is house made like most of their syrups. I think I would have preferred it as a matcha though.
I was introduced to Lovr Boy’s Coffee by my friend Jolene who owns Local Honey at Coconut Point Mall in Estero FL. Love Boy’s does pop up all around SWFL but they are going to be at Local Honey permanently very soon.
I co-hosted a holiday pop up event at Local Honey with Lovr Boy’s and a few other local brands in SWFL. It was so much fun. It was my first time meeting Caleb, one of the owners. I still haven’t met his sister Anna Lin.
At the pop up I ordered a matcha with oat milk and salted caramel syrup and I realized after I should have asked about their holiday drinks first. But they do have a peppermint mocha which is a sweet mint mocha with organic dark chocolate and peppermint syrup. He also mentioned that they have a snickerdoodle latte.
The one thing that I wish he had brought to the pop up was the cinnamon rolls. They have different flavors that you wouldn’t think of like Guava which I love so much. I think they even have a blueberry lemon flavor and that’s so cool
The first time I went to Peter’s German Ice Cream and Coffee I was with the Always Dope girls taking pictures for their brand and for myself. We went in to get coffee, treats and to get content. Peter’s is located on Dean St in Downtown Fort Myers. I met one of the owners Marika that day and she was so sweet.
I went in again for another shoot day and to try one of their holiday drinks. They have a Frozen Hot Chocolate, Cookie Butter Latte, Peppermint Mocha Latte and an Eggnog Frappe’. This time both owners were there so I got to ask them what their favorite was. Marika said hers was the frozen hot chocolate because it gives her a break from drinking coffee. Peter said he likes the eggnog frappe because in Germany they have a hot eggnog drink, which they told me will be available closer to Christmas.
I tried the cookie butter latte because I needed to drink something warm otherwise I would’ve tried the frozen hot chocolate. I really liked it. It tasted similar to Good Ground’s gingerbread latte. I think I’m going back for the frozen hot chocolate or the hot eggnog. Marika knew I had a bust shoot day and she gave me some delicious treats to go.
